Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and tender documents for projects.
Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor quotations and supplier offers.
Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and control costs during execution.
Conduct site visits to verify quantities, measure works, and prepare interim payment applications.
Prepare variation orders, claims, and final accounts in line with contractual requirements.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and standards.
Work closely with engineers, project managers, and procurement teams to support decision-making.
Maintain accurate project documentation, contracts, and cost records.
Provide cash flow projections, financial reports, and progress updates to management.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Qatar's construction/contracting industry.
Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS).
Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QS-related software (e.g., CostX, Primavera, or similar).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure.
