Job Description

:

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control, with at least 4 years of hands-on experience working with Ashghal projects in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive QA/QC plans and procedures in line with project specifications and Ashghal requirements. Conduct regular inspections, audits, and quality control activities on-site and off-site to ensure compliance with relevant standards. Review engineering drawings, specifications, material submittals, and contractor work to ensure adherence to quality standards. Coordinate with project teams, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve quality issues efficiently. Prepare detailed quality reports, inspection records, and non-conformance reports (NCRs). Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes. Ensure that all QA/QC documentation is properly maintained and submitted in a timely manner. Provide training and guidance to QA/QC staff and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Minimum 12 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects. At least 4 years of direct experience working with Ashghal projects in Qatar. Strong knowledge of QA/QC standards and methodologies (ISO 9001, Ashghal standards, etc.). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Relevant QA/QC certifications (e.g., CQE, IRCA) are a plus.
