Job Summary:

We are looking for a professional and highly experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all cost aspects of our interior decoration and fit-out projects, from the initial estimation phase through to the final accounts, ensuring the best possible value is achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze Bills of Quantities (BoQ) for interior design and fit-out projects.
Develop initial cost estimates and prepare project budgets.
Prepare tender documents and contracts for subcontractors and suppliers.
Evaluate technical and commercial bids from suppliers and subcontractors.
Prepare and process interim payment certificates and valuations.
Continuously monitor project costs and provide regular financial status reports.
Manage, evaluate, and process variation orders and their financial impact on the project budget.
Prepare and settle final accounts for projects with all relevant parties.
Liaise consistently with project managers, engineers, and designers to ensure accurate cost control.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a primary focus on interior decoration and fit-out projects in Qatar or the GCC region.
In-depth understanding of finishing materials, Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E), and custom joinery.
Strong knowledge of standard methods of measurement (e.g., SMM7, POMI).
Excellent negotiation and contract administration skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Proficiency in quantity surveying software and the MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic (written and verbal) are highly preferred.
Must be currently residing in Qatar with a valid and transferable residence permit (NOC is required).
