Role Overview:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in managing project costs, contracts, and financial performance. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise and extensive experience in cost management.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts for construction projects.
• Manage tendering processes, contract negotiations, and procurement activities.
• Monitor project expenditures and report on financial performance to management.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement cost control measures.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, specifications, and legal regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize resources and deliver value.
• Provide expert advice on contractual matters, claims, and variations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 10 years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement procedures, and cost control methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders.
• Professional certifications (e.g., RICS, CIOB) are an advantage.
