Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate
quantity take-offs
for civil, finishing, and MEP works (as required).
Develop and update
Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
for new and ongoing projects.
Review drawings, specifications, and scope to ensure correct measurements and calculations.
Assist in preparing
material requirements
and support procurement based on approved quantities.
Coordinate with site team for verification of executed quantities and progress work.
Support in
variation orders
(VO), additional works, and cost impact calculations.
Prepare and verify
subcontractor quantities
and payment certifications.
Maintain records for quantities, BOQs, revisions, and supporting documents.
Identify quantity differences between drawings and actual site conditions and report accordingly.
Work closely with Project Engineers and Site Supervisors to ensure correct quantity tracking.
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum
2-5 years
experience as a
Quantity Surveyor
(UAE experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of
quantity take-off
,
BOQ preparation
, and measurement standards.
Good understanding of construction materials, methods, and site execution.
Able to read and interpret drawings:
Architectural / Structural / MEP
.
Skilled in
Excel
and QS tools (AutoCAD experience is an advantage).
Good communication and reporting skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
Experience in villas, commercial, and maintenance works.
Knowledge of tendering, estimation, and cost control is a plus.
Ability to handle multiple projects and manage priorities.
