Position Overview
This Quantity Surveyor role with AECOM Dubai supports the post-contract team for villa development projects. The position involves cost control, quantity measurement, tender documentation, variation assessment, and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with QA requirements and AECOM's project delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform quantity measurement for cost plans, cost estimates, and bills of quantities
  • Prepare, review, and supervise the development of tender documentation
  • Conduct viability studies and prepare accurate cost estimates
  • Implement and monitor cost control procedures throughout project lifecycle
  • Evaluate variations, additions, and omissions and integrate findings into monthly cost reports
  • Support preparation, pricing, and negotiation of change orders
  • Provide input on financial claims and contractual matters
  • Benchmark project data for cost analysis and reporting
  • Ensure all activities comply with internal QA procedures and project standards
  • Work independently or with limited supervision on assigned tasks
  • Participate in post-contract activities within the villa development program
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering from a recognized institution
  • Minimum 5 years of Middle East experience, preferably in post-contract roles
  • Working toward MRICS or equivalent accreditation is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cost planning, tender documentation, and variation assessment
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with cost control systems and financial reporting
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
