Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (Pre & Post Contract) with strong experience in cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of UAE experience in the construction industry, managing both pre-contract and post-contract phases of commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Contract Responsibilities:

Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents as per project specifications.
Evaluate design drawings and identify cost implications and potential value engineering opportunities.
Analyze quotations, conduct rate analysis, and assist in vendor selection.
Prepare tender reports and assist in negotiation and contract finalization.
Support in budgeting and preparation of project financial forecasts.
Post-Contract Responsibilities:

Prepare and review interim payment applications, variations, and final accounts.
Evaluate subcontractor claims, progress payments, and change orders.
Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
Prepare cost reports and cash flow statements for management review.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve commercial issues.
Maintain records of site measurements and progress for verification.
Support project close-out, final accounts, and documentation.
Desired Profile

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
3-5 years of UAE experience in construction or contracting (buildings/infrastructure).
Strong understanding of UAE construction standards, FIDIC contracts, and local cost norms.
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and Quantity Surveying software (e.g., CostX, Candy).
Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
Strong communication and documentation abilities.
