Quantity Surveyor

(More than 7 years' experience on High Rise Buildings, Luxury Villas, Mosques)

Qumra Contracting is looking for a Pre-Contract Quantity Surveyor to join our team.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferably Civil Engineering having experience working at project site.

At least 5 years of quantity surveying experience in Middle East on projects like Residential/Commercial High-Rise Buildings, Luxury Villas, Mosques.

Proficient in using Planswift.

Job description:

Prepares material take-offs on assigned project, or program from engineering drawings, plans, and specifications. Take-off from drawings using Planswift software.

Ability to fully understand Architectural and Structural drawings and derive quantities with keen attention to all details.

Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ).

Interpret and check drawings, tender documents, specifications, quantities, price tenders, estimates and preparation of contract documents. This included sending out RFI (Request for Information) or clarifications to Client/Consultant.

Prepare cost comparisons of Subcontractors/Suppliers quotations.

Assist in the tender close out.
