\xe2\x80\x8bCharterhouse is currently working with a global investment management company who is looking to hire a Quant Developer-Front End, to join their global technology team.

About the role
This is a great opportunity to join a growing a global financial services firm that has a talented technology division. The Quant Developer will be responsible for the development, UI and Performance of the quantitative trading platform.

This role will be required to work closely with multiple teams across the business to gather requirements and feedback. The team has a focus on performance optimization. In addition, this role will be responsible for the applications ensuring they work at maximum speed, efficiency and scalability.

The Quant Developer will be a senior member of the team and will be looked upon to mentor and coach more junior developers.

About you
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate should hold a Bachelor\'s or Master\'s Degree in computer science or related field. The candidate must have 5+ years\' experience working as a developer, having strong experience with React and proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and other web technologies. A big focus on UI Development will be advantageous.

Our client would prefer someone who has worked in a financial services background previously (financial, trading or related fields), with excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
