Job Title: Quantity Surveyor - Civil Construction

Job Summary:
We are hiring a Quantity Surveyor for our civil construction projects. The candidate must have experience in cost estimation, contract handling, and project coordination in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates
Handle tendering activities: pre-tender documentation and post-tender evaluation
Lead the tendering process, analyze bids, and assist in contractor selection
Draft, manage, and monitor contracts, including tracking of variations and scope changes
Monitor project expenditure and ensure alignment with approved budgets
Evaluate completed work and prepare payment certificates
Liaise with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients for coordination and approvals
Ensure all work complies with legal, quality, and safety regulations
Assist in resolving contractual disputes and preparing claims documentation
Requirements:
Diploma or B. Tech in Civil Engineering
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in civil construction
UAE experience is mandatory
Strong knowledge in quantity take-offs and tender procedures
Proficient in MS Excel and quantity surveying tools/software
Good communication and coordination skills
