Job Title: Luxury Leather Restoration Production Manager & Quality Controller

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager & Quality Controller to oversee our leather restoration workshop. This role combines operational leadership with meticulous quality control. You will manage daily production schedules, guide technicians, and ensure that every restoration meets international luxury standards.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management

Plan and coordinate daily restoration workflow for bags, shoes, and accessories.
Assign tasks to technicians based on skillset and workload.
Ensure optimal use of materials, dyes, and tools to maintain efficiency.
Monitor turnaround times and ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
Quality Control

Inspect all items before, during, and after restoration for accuracy and perfection.
Uphold strict quality standards aligned with luxury brand expectations.
Provide corrective feedback to technicians on work quality.
Approve only items that meet finishing, color-matching, and craftsmanship standards.
Team Leadership & Communication

Supervise and train restoration technicians in advanced techniques.
Conduct workshops on best practices, safety, and new methods.
Maintain a positive, disciplined, and productive team environment.
Stay closely connected with the office team to provide accurate and timely updates on job progress, delivery schedules, and quality issues.
Collaborate with the customer service team to explain processes or challenges.
Ensure customer expectations are aligned with achievable results.
Reporting & Improvement

Maintain records of production, reworks, and quality assessments.
Recommend process improvements for efficiency and quality.
Report directly to senior management on production performance.
Requirements

Proven experience in luxury leather restoration, shoe care, or fashion production management.
Strong understanding of leather types, dyes, finishes, and restoration methods.
Eye for detail, precision in color-matching, and finishing.
Leadership experience in managing workshop staff and workflows.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of high-end brands (Hermes, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, etc.) is a strong advantage.
Preferred Qualifications

Background in luxury fashion workshops, cobbling, or artisan craftsmanship.
Previous experience in quality assurance for high-value products.
