Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Quality Manager to lead and manage all quality control activities at our module fabrication yard. This pivotal role involves the creation, implementation, and continuous improvement of a robust quality management system. The successful candidate will ensure that all fabrication, assembly, and installation work strictly adheres to project specifications, engineering drawings, and all relevant local and international regulations. You will be instrumental in upholding the highest levels of quality and integrity throughout every phase of the project, from material receipt to final module acceptance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive quality control plans and inspection procedures for all yard activities, ensuring all processes meet or exceed project requirements. Supervise and lead the on-site quality team, including inspectors, NDT operators, and external subcontractors, providing them with technical guidance and all necessary support for quality-related tasks. Conduct thorough inspections and audits at every stage of fabrication to verify compliance, identify any non-conformances, and lead the root cause analysis for all quality-related issues. Manage and maintain all quality documentation, including inspection reports, material certifications, and test results, ensuring a comprehensive and auditable record is kept. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, third-party inspectors, and project teams on all quality matters, ensuring seamless communication and problem resolution.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field is highly preferred. A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in a quality management role. Demonstrable experience in a fabrication yard, modular construction, or similar heavy industrial environment is strongly preferred. Proven leadership abilities and experience in managing a team of quality professionals and subcontractors. Exceptional knowledge of quality control standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and industry-specific regulations. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
