The Quality Manager is responsible for leading all quality assurance and quality control activities within the manufacturing facility. This role ensures that products meet customer requirements, regulatory standards, and internal quality expectations. The manager develops and implements quality systems, oversees continuous improvement projects, and drives a culture of quality throughout the organization.
Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 13485).
Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and corporate quality requirements.
Lead internal and external audits; coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Quality Control & Assurance
Oversee inspection, testing, and quality control activities across all production stages.
Establish quality standards, inspection processes, and testing protocols.
Review and approve quality documentation, including control plans, PPAP/FAI, and validation reports.
Continuous Improvement
Lead root cause analysis using Six Sigma, 5 Why, Fishbone, and other problem-solving methodologies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, scrap, and cost of poor quality (COPQ).
Monitor and analyze quality metrics (e.g., DPPM, yield, customer complaints, process capability).
Leadership & Collaboration
Manage the quality team
Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Product Development to ensure quality is integrated into all processes.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality issues and supplier quality concerns.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare and present quality performance reports to leadership.
Maintain accurate records of audits, non-conformances, corrective actions, and process changes.
Ensure documentation control and traceability throughout the manufacturing process.
QualificationsEducation & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field.
5-10 years of experience in manufacturing quality roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
Experience with quality standards relevant to the sector (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 13485, GMP, etc.).
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of quality tools: FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, CAPA, DMAIC, Lean/Six Sigma.
Proficiency with statistical analysis and quality software (e.g., Minitab).
Understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, assembly, injection molding, electronics manufacturing, or similar.

Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Manager/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE).
Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies and automation.
