Job Description

Responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with

ISO/IEC 17020

and

EIAC accreditation requirements

. The role ensures all inspection activities are performed with impartiality, independence, and technical competence.

QMS Management

: Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Manual, procedures, and related documentation in line with ISO/IEC 17020 standards and EIAC-specific requirements.

Accreditation & Compliance

: Ensure continuous compliance with national and international standards and legislation. Act as the primary liaison for EIAC, clients, and other regulatory bodies during accreditation and surveillance audits.

Auditing and Monitoring

: Plan and conduct internal quality audits, facilitate third-party inspections, and ensure the effectiveness of the QMS. Monitor all quality-related activities on projects and make recommendations for improvement.

Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)

: Lead investigations into non-conformances, customer complaints, and quality deviations. Ensure timely and effective implementation and closure of all corrective and preventive actions.

Inspection Procedures

: Oversee the development and review of inspection test plans (ITPs), method statements, and check-sheets. Ensure all inspections are executed in strict compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Personnel Competence

: Review personnel qualifications, manage quality-related training programs, and ensure all staff (especially inspection engineers) have the necessary competence for their roles.

Documentation and Reporting

: Control all quality records and archive documentation upon project completion. Gather relevant data, prepare statistical reports and quality KPIs, and present findings during management reviews.

Impartiality and Ethics

: Monitor and promote the impartiality, independence, and confidentiality of all inspection activities within the company.
Required Qualifications and Skills

Education

: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or a related field) or an applied science field is typically required.

Experience

: Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in a quality management or quality assurance role within the inspection, testing, or certification industry. Direct experience working with EIAC accreditation requirements and participating in accreditation audits is highly desirable. Strong working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17020:2012 (Requirements for the operation of various types of bodies performing inspection) is essential. Familiarity with other standards like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 is a plus.
