Overview

***This position is physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP***

The Quality Lead is responsible for performance monitoring of program functional areas through the established auditing program, document control program and Vectrus Improvement Program. The Quality Lead can perform audit surveillances of Program internal procedures to ensure compliance and continuous improvement of processes. Responsibilities also include scheduling, reviewing Audits, approving audits, mentoring auditors and ensuring quality databases are maintained. Ensures all quality systems comply with ISO 9001-2015 standards. Monitoring the customer comment program, ensuring all data is collected, analyzed and reported to leadership. This position will report to the TO Quality Manager or designee.

Responsibilities

This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.

+ Train, mentor, lead, and provide technical guidance and assistance to the auditors.

+ Administer initial counseling regarding department policies, rules, and expectations to the new auditors.

+ Schedules, assigns, reviews, and approves audit/surveillance reports.

+ Conducts audit surveillances in functional or operational areas

+ Prepares audit/surveillance reports as needed

+ Monitor and track for nonconformances on Vectrus Associated Risk Management System (VARMS) Reports, Enterprise Valued Analytics (EVA), Letter of Technical Direction (LOTD) closures and Self Identification CARs on SharePoint.

+ Facilitates and assists in Root Cause Analysis and development of Corrective and Preventive action plans as required

+ Assigns Corrective Action Request (CAR) verification audits and directs verification methods to verify completeness and effectiveness of corrective/preventive actions.

+ Monitors and oversees the site implementation of the Voice of Customer (VOC) Program, ensuring all data is collected, analyzed, vetted, logged and tracked through closure.

+ Monitors program functions for compliance with the PWS & ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS).

+ Participate as required, in Quality partnering meetings with Internal and External Customers.

+ Prepare reports as required to the Quality Manager.

+ Responsible for reporting daily Personnel Status Report (PERSTAT)/ HCAMs.

+ Prepare appointment memorandums and other administrative functions as needed.

+ Order and prepare order requisitions for supplies and property as required.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

+ MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Education/Certifications: Two years related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

+ High School Diploma

+ ISO 9001: 2015 Lead Auditor certification (or able to obtain within 120 days of hire) from an accredited institution such as ASQ, Koenig, Exemplar Global, SAE, or Global Association of Quality Management with a certificate #).

+ Preferred current ServSafe certification or able to pass examination within 120 days of hire

+ Must have valid US Passport

+ Must possess a valid US or Country of Origin driver's license.

+ Experience:

+ A minimum of 5 years direct Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience is highly desirable.

+ 7 years in contracting environment, with a minimum of 5 years of management or supervisory experience highly desirable.

+ Excellent English communicator both in writing reports and verbally.

+ Strong attention to detail is required when reviewing reports and vetting nonconformances.

+ Must have proven strong Leadership skills.

+ Must have high level or senior organizational skills.

+ Must have advanced working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ServSafe

+ Must have intermediate knowledge of the FAR, DFARs & DoD regulations.

+ Must have extensive experience with all Microsoft office products and database management.

+ Candidate must also be able to work under pressure, manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and have excellent

+ Interpersonal skills.

+ Must have excellent English Communication skills both written and oral

+ Skills

+ Strong organizational skills.

+ Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Office Tools. Ability to work with very diverse workforce.

+ Excellent communicator both in writing and verbally.

+ Expertise in writing SOP'S, Plans, Work Instructions, processes and Project Orders a plus.

+ Proven skills in Analytical/Problem Solving.

+ Strong planning and organizational skills.

+ Strong attention to detail is required.

+ Supervisory Responsibilities

+ May fill in as a Quality Manager as necessary.

+ Working Conditions:

+ Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

+ Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, duty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months).

+ Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.

+ Physical Requirements:

+ Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.

+ Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.

+ Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.

+ Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
