Job Description
Position : QA/QC Inspector
Location- Site Base
Roles and Responsibility :
Perform daily site inspections of construction works (e.g., excavation, backfilling, sub-base, asphalt, concrete, utilities) to ensure compliance with project specifications, PWA standards, and approved method statements. Prepare and submit Inspection Requests (IRs) for ongoing and completed activities, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up until closure. Witness and verify laboratory and field testing activities (compaction, slump, cube testing, asphalt core testing, etc.) in coordination with third-party labs.Identify non-conformances, report them to the QA/QC Engineer, and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions. Liaise with consultants and client representatives during inspections and ensure readiness of works for approvals. Maintain accurate inspection logs, site observations, photographic evidence, and daily quality records. Ensure that ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans) are being followed and that all checklists are completed and signed off appropriately.
