We are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This positions is required to coordinate the day-to-day development, maintenance, and execution of the Quality compliance programs at the EthosEnergy Abu Dhabi facility. You will facilitate implementation within the Middle East region of new Quality programs, report on compliance with existing programs.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for implementing and maintaining the Quality Management processes, complying with all applicable requirements. To ensure the company is able to deliver consistent and profitable growth through the application and continuous improvement. Provide professional QA/QC support to the operational business unit ensuring the maintenance of a Quality Management System and application of the organisational Quality Policy. Execute day to day QC activities in Workshop and providing Technical assistance on Site. Support sending Equipment for Calibration and Maintaining Equipment's Register. Coordinating in-house calibration activities in workshop. Control the workshop inspection activities with the Quality & production engineers. Reviewing the Quality documents, procedures, GA Drawings, final documentation etc on daily basis and issuing the Certificate of Conformance/Compliance for all the jobs. Ensure following Project Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plan (ITP). Support Inspection team in Repair/Rework Recommendations for different types of rotating equipment (steam turbines, turbo compressors, generators, pumps, etc) Reporting any non-conformance to Higher authorities and assisting QHSE Manager to conclude the Root Cause Analysis & Corrective actions on NC Jobs. Support in all the NDE Processes RT, UT, MPT, PT, PMI as applicable. Support in preparation of Day-to-Day activity reports - Quality Package (NDE (MPI, LP, RT),HVOF ,Lazer cladding , Low Speed Balancing, High Speed Balancing & (Review Reports), Inspection Reports. Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and plans as well as applicable external HSSE regulatory programs. Ensure initiation of action(s) to minimize the likelihood of the occurrence of nonconformities. To support maintaining the API standards/specifications pertaining to product quality.

Experience

Aware of Management Systems in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 / API Spec Q1 ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standards. Hands on experience in API 687, API 612 & API 617. Ability to conduct different kind of inspections: Dimensional - Visual - ERO - NDE. Basic understanding of rotating equipment (turbo compressors - steam turbines - pumps - etc.) Ability to prepare inspection reports as required. Knowledge of Turbines, Rotating equipment, pumps (desirable). Knowledge of measuring / inspection parameters for oilfield equipment. knowledge of inspections and NDT procedures. Knowledge of Welding Technology (desirable). Knowledge and Understanding of Quality Management principles and practice within an organizational context. Good communication skills in English language, both verbal and written. Computer Skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook).

Education Requirements

Industrial diploma, or degree in Mechanical Engineering (desirable).
