Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled

Quality Engineer

to oversee quality assurance processes, ensure product compliance with standards, and support continuous improvement across operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in inspection, testing, documentation, and working closely with production teams to maintain high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and maintain quality standards, procedures, and inspection plans. Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process activities, and finished products. Prepare and manage quality documents such as ITPs, NCRs, CAPA reports, and daily inspection reports. Identify defects, document non-conformities, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions. Monitor and analyze quality performance, defect trends, and process deviations. Ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality policies (ISO 9001 preferred). Support internal audits, supplier audits, and third-party inspections. Coordinate with production, engineering, and procurement teams to resolve quality issues. Ensure all measuring and testing equipment is calibrated and properly maintained. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, Six Sigma).

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering field. 1-5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or in a QC/QA role. Knowledge of quality tools: RCA, 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA, SPC. Strong understanding of inspection methods, instrumentation, and standards. Excellent documentation, reporting, and analytical skills. Good communication and coordination abilities. Experience with manufacturing, construction, fabrication, or similar industries is an advantage.

Preferred Certifications (Optional)

ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Six Sigma (Yellow/Green Belt) NDT Level II (if relevant to industry)

Working Conditions

On-site role in Sharjah. Standard working hours; overtime may be required for inspections or audits. PPE must be used when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
