Quality Engineer
Job Description
Quality Engineer - Railway Projects:
(with site exp)
Location: Egypt, 6 October City
Key Responsibilities:
Implement quality plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and documentation for railway installations, testing, and commissioning.
Supervise MEP, PSD, elevator, and escalator installations, testing, and commissioning activities on site.
Conduct inspections, verify materials, and ensure adherence to drawings, specifications, and standards.
Identify non-conformities, drive corrective and preventive actions, and prepare handover reports.
Well versed with reports including IR (Inspection Reports), NCR (Non-Conformance Reports), MCR (Material Conformance Reports), and MDR (Material Discrepancy Reports).
Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and consultants to enforce QA/QC protocols.Promote safety standards and continuous improvement throughout all project phases.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of site experience in railway projects, with focus on installations, testing, and commissioning.
Proven expertise in MEP systems, PSD, elevators, and escalators.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards.
