Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with

and quality standards.
Identify and document
casting defects
(e.g., porosity, shrinkage, cracks) and recommend corrective actions.
Perform and interpret results from
non-destructive tests
(e.g., visual inspection, dye penetrant, ultrasonic, magnetic particle).
Ensure compliance with
ISO standards
and customer specifications.
Maintain
accurate quality records
and inspection reports.
Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement process improvements.
Participate in
root cause analysis (RCA)
and
corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
.
Assist in the development and training of staff on quality standards and procedures.
Report non-conformances and ensure
quarantine of defective products
until resolved.
Support internal and external audits.
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma/Degree in
Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering
, or related field.
Minimum
2-5 years
of quality control experience in a foundry or metal casting environment.
Familiarity with
casting processes
such as sand casting, investment casting, or die casting.
Knowledge of
quality standards (ISO 9001)
and inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Experience in
non-destructive testing (NDT)
methods.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Good communication and reporting skills.
