To carry out quality inspections and ensure that all site construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and quality standards. The role focuses on day-to-day site quality control activities and coordination with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct daily inspections of site works (civil, structural, finishing, or MEP as applicable) to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
Monitor construction activities to confirm adherence to the project's Quality Control Plan and Inspection & Test Plan (ITP).
Verify that materials delivered to site are as per approved submittals and project specifications.
Prepare inspection requests (IRs) and coordinate with consultants/clients for approval.
Record and report any non-conformance (NCRs) and follow up on corrective actions.
Maintain detailed quality documentation and inspection records.
Assist site engineers and supervisors in implementing proper quality control practices.
Ensure calibration and proper usage of testing and measuring equipment.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers on quality-related matters.
Promote and enforce site safety and environmental standards in conjunction with quality requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree/diploma in Civil Engineering (or related field).
3-6 years of experience in QA/QC roles within construction projects.
Hands-on experience with site inspection, ITPs, and quality documentation.
Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with QA/QC software is an advantage.
Strong communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently at site with attention to detail.
