This role involves conducting road tests, identifying faults, and verifying that all work has been completed to manufacturer and company standards before the vehicle is returned to the customer.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform road tests on vehicles post-repair or service to verify proper operation and identify any remaining issues.
Conduct final quality control inspections, ensuring all work meets internal and manufacturer standards.
Accurately diagnose faults during road tests and report findings to the Workshop Controller or relevant technician.
Complete quality control documentation and maintain accurate records of inspections and test results.
Ensure all vehicles are safe, clean, and ready for customer delivery.
Collaborate with technicians and service advisors to resolve any outstanding issues.
Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations during testing and inspections.
Provide feedback to improve service quality and reduce repeat repairs.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a road tester, technician, or quality controller in the automotive industry.
Strong understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
Valid UAE driving license (or relevant local license) with a clean driving record.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Familiarity with workshop management systems and diagnostic tools.
Desirable:
Experience with premium or high-performance vehicles.
Certification in automotive quality control or inspection.
Knowledge of manufacturer warranty and service standards
