Job Description
Job Summary: As a Quality Control Specialist at Velvety Couture, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the quality of our fashion garments. You will be responsible for conducting rigorous quality control measurements and inspections throughout the production process to ensure that our products meet the highest standards in the fashion and demi couture industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of quality control techniques, garment construction, and fashion industry standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive quality control checks on all stages of garment production, from fabric inspection to finished product.
- Ensure that all garments meet specified quality standards in terms of stitching, fit, finishing, and overall appearance.
- Identify and address any quality issues promptly, providing feedback to production teams for correction.
- Develop and maintain detailed quality control documentation and reports.
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement improvements.
- Conduct audits of suppliers and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in quality control for the fashion and demi couture industry.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in quality control within the fashion and demi couture industry, with a minimum of 03 years.
- In-depth knowledge of garment construction, fabric quality, and industry-specific quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify even minor defects.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate quality standards and issues with production teams.
- Proficient in using quality control tools, software, and equipment.
- Highly organized and capable of maintaining accurate documentation.
- Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced fashion design environment.
- Ajman: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
