Seven Fortunes Coffee Roasters is a specialty coffee roasting company based in Dubai, UAE. We source, roast & wholesale only the best coffees with an obsession for quality and consistency, and we are driven to provide the best service possible to our customers. Our quality team is seeking an Apprentice Coffee Quality Associate for an immediate start. This is a full-time role, based out of our Al Quoz roastery in Dubai, UAE, which involves working in our quality team to perform the full coffee quality process. Including:

Understanding quality control points and managing them appropriately
Ensuring quality standards are met in-house and externally
Working with clients to assess and maintain quality when using our product
Efficiently and precise problem solving of all coffee quality issues
Working with the production team to support fulfilling orders and work on time-critical tasks

The successful applicant will possess the following attributes:

An unbridled passion for coffee, and the desire to work with coffee all day, every day
The drive to forever improve and take whatever steps are necessary to build upon the candidate's areas of responsibility
Excellent communication skills
A conscientious, highly organized and independent approach to work
The ability to work autonomously and efficiently in a small-team environment
Prior experience in coffee (for example, as a barista or other professional coffee role) is required
Prior experience in coffee roasting is not essential
