The Role

Middle East Executive has been retained to manage a confidential search project for a QA/QC Engineer for a leading chemical company based in Dubai. If you have minimum 2 years of experience as QA/QC this role is for you! Responsibilities: 1. Process & Standards Compliance oEnsure all products, services, and operations comply with company quality standards and regulatory requirements. oDevelop, implement, and maintain QA policies, procedures, and manuals. 2. Testing & Inspection oCarry out inspections, audits, and testing of incoming and outgoing goods. oDetect defects, deviations, and non-conformities, and recommend corrective measures. oDefine packing standards in coordination with procurement to meet global requirements. oVerify that inbound materials pass QC checks and are shipment ready. oConduct pre-loading inspections at third-party warehouses. oPrepare Quality Assurance Reports (QAR) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for out-of-spec products. oInvestigate NCRs with the technical team and submit detailed findings. oParticipate in bulk loading at supplier/third-party sites to ensure compliance. oPeriodically inspect production operations to verify adherence to SOPs. oTrain team members on ERP matching procedures and resolve discrepancies. oInspect consignments according to supplier grades. oConfirm that loading matches sales orders and prevent cargo damage. oSupervise relabelling processes to ensure accuracy and compliance. 3. Documentation & Reporting oMaintain accurate and updated QA records, reports, and certifications. oDocument test results and share findings with relevant teams. oTrack key quality metrics and generate periodic performance reports. oMonitor inventory levels and aging and revalidate product shelf life. 4. Collaboration & Support oWork closely with operations, production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure quality compliance. oSupport internal and external audit processes. oAssist the Senior Chemist in R&D, technical services, complaint resolution, QC, and revalidation activities. 5. Continuous Improvement oIdentify opportunities to enhance efficiency, minimize errors, and improve processes. oImplement Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans. oSupport and deliver training programs on quality standards and procedures. 6. Customer & Compliance Focus oEnsure customer specifications and expectations are consistently met. oManage customer complaints by conducting root cause analysis and driving corrective actions. oStay updated on industry regulations, certifications, and compliance requirements. 7. Risk & Safety Management oMonitor and mitigate risks related to product quality and safety. oEnsure that workplace safety protocols are incorporated into quality assurance practices.



Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in QA/QC with Chemical Company o Prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), QA/QC reports o Manage customer complaints o Implement Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans o ISO certification preferred not required
