Our client, a leading group of companies is looking to recruit an experienced Quality Assurance Manager for its Food division.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead to Quality Department and supervise the Quality Supervisors, Quality Officers, Quality technicians, Quality Laboratory and Hygiene Team.
• Integrate quality assurance into all processes and procedures of the production unit.
• Introduce, monitor and update quality and food safety programs in connection with other departments to meet company and regulatory objectives, quality lab testing framework, HACCP, food safety and defined procedures, pest management and housekeeping/sanitation practices.
• Must represent the factory for all certifications and maintain and maintain checklists for all audit accordingly.
• Ensure that safe, high quality, and consistent food products are served to the final customers, in compliance with the organization\'s standard and governmental norms.
• Ensures that all policies for raw materials and finished products are executed and perform supplier audits. Moreover, ensure detailed auditing of own production areas in relation to cleaning schedules, hygiene procedures, product and packaging quality as well as checking quality on incoming products.
• Perform staff training on Food Safety and initiate and monitor corrective actions in the event of customer complaints coordinating with operations manager to maintain ongoing communication with authorities regarding food safety and health issues.
• Develop Quality Assurance recipe documents. Also, ensure all documentation and records are logged and controlled.
• Responsible for effective implementation and/or utilization of the approved analytical methods to ensure high quality raw material, semi-finished products, finished products and packaging materials.
• Develops and guides all team members to ensure proper implementation and adherence to HACCP guideline and any municipal or government directive.
• Works closely with Production and R&D to improve on existing product recipes and develop new products.
• Works closely with production manager, marketing manager on creating specifications for all approved raw materials, packing materials and finished goods.
• Supervises the inbound material, in process, and finished products specification compliance, and recommends and acts where necessary to ensure food safety and product standards.
• Responsible for ensuring those all on the line testing instruments are calibrated in liaison with maintenance department.
• Regional, Global and specific customer policies and procedure implementation. Factory registration with country of destination for export market (US FDA, EU, SFDA). Export regulation compliance (Label, product etc.).
• Private labelling (Specification, Product approval and registration).

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Quality department within FMCG is mandatory for this role
• Team management skills will be essential

SALARY & BENEFITS:

• AED 20,000- 22,000 per month
