Job SUMMARY:
The Quality Intern, Commercial Quality MENA is member of the Middle East and Africa Commercial Quality Team and is responsible for supporting the Commercial Quality organization within the region. Responsibilities involve supporting the quality systems management of Distributors, third party logistics and local Scientific offices, and working with internal cross-functional resources. The Quality Intern supports activities that are carried out as per GDP guidelines. The Quality Intern will support the management and oversight of AbbVie quality management system. The intern position is a 6 months position with possibility for extension at the end of the term.Supervisory responsibility: (if applicable)

Maintenance of MENA Quality Management System \xc3\x98 Support the maintenance of the Quality systems as part of the regional Team \xc3\x98 Support QA requirements and implement as appropriate for the CQA Functions \xc3\x98 Support the Document controller functions within the region as per the Good Documentation Practice: \xc3\x98 - Through managing quality documents Change request in the approved AbbVie document management platform \xc3\x98 - Through ensuring routing of attendance sheets and compiling Quality Management Meeting Review Minutes \xc3\x98 Support the Change Control system within MENA Region \xc3\x98 Conduct \xe2\x80\x93GXP and local training for local personnel as required in the AbbVie Training systems as per the affiliates quality training matrix \xc3\x98

job QUALIFICATIONS (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS):
The requirements described in this section are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Education and Experience- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in an engineering/medical/scientific related field is required, preferably Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, etc.
- Entry Level position without any prior experience
- Minimum 3.5 GPA
Essential Skills, Experience, and Competencies (includes Licenses, Credentials)
- Ability to successfully partner with individuals from within the CQA organization
- Excellent written and oral skills in English and Arabic. French is a plus
- Advanced computer skills especially in the fields of Excell, Access, Power point
- Exceptional organizational skills
