Key Responsibilities:
Prepare
detailed cost estimates
and
BOQs
(Bill of Quantities) based on drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
Evaluate and interpret
tender documents, drawings, and contracts
.
Source and negotiate
supplier and subcontractor quotations
to support competitive pricing.
Participate in
site visits, take-offs, and measurements
as needed.
Prepare and submit
RFQs
,
cost comparisons
, and
value engineering options
.
Prepare
variation orders
,
cost reports
, and
monthly valuations
.
Coordinate with the procurement team for material cost and availability.
Liaise with project managers, consultants, and clients for
commercial clarifications
.
Maintain
cost control
and budgeting throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist in final account preparation and
claims management
.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in
Quantity Surveying
,
Civil Engineering
, or equivalent.
Minimum
5 years of UAE experience
in estimation and quantity surveying
Strong knowledge of
local market rates, materials, and suppliers
.
Proficient in
AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software
Sound understanding of
contract types
,
FIDIC
, and
commercial practices
.
Excellent
analytical skills
, attention to detail, and
cost awareness
.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
