We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Quantity Surveyor (QS) Civil Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in pre and post-tender processes within the construction industry. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial plans for construction projects.
Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities for tenders.
Analyze tenders and provide recommendations on cost-effective solutions.
Manage and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Monitor project progress and control costs to ensure that the project is completed within budget.
Prepare and present financial reports and forecasts.
Conduct risk analysis and value engineering to ensure project efficiency and effectiveness.
Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
Resolve any contractual and commercial issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in pre and post-tender processes in Dubai.
Strong knowledge of construction costs, contracts, and procurement processes.
Proficiency in using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, and specialized QS software.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with local construction laws and regulations in Dubai.
