Key Responsibilities:
Review and edit
Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
, ensuring that all quantities are correct, consistent, and align with project specifications.
Ensure the
quality standards
for construction or engineering works are met by inspecting and testing materials, equipment, and workmanship.
Perform regular
inspections and audits
to monitor project quality and compliance.
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and contractors to discuss any discrepancies in the BOQ and resolve issues.
Assist in
preparing QS documentation
and reports, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and local regulations.
Provide
technical support
to the team to ensure that all project materials and processes are in line with the quality requirements.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in
Civil Engineering
,
Construction Engineering
, or a related field.
At least
2 years of experience
in QS, with a strong understanding of the construction process and documentation.
Experience in
editing and preparing BOQs
and related project documents.
Strong knowledge of construction
standards, specifications, and regulations
.
Proficient in
Microsoft Excel, Word, and project management software
.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
