Job Description
Job Purpose:
Responsible for managing all aspects of cost estimation, budgeting, and quantity surveying for building construction, renovations in BSTC aligns with
Ashghal standards and procedures
. The QS Engineer ensures that project costs are accurately monitored, controlled, and reported throughout the project lifecycle of multiple sites.Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate
tender documents
, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy in quantities. Review and verifyinterim payment applications
,variations
, andclaims
from contractors. Conductsite measurements
, cost tracking, and forecasting for all project activities. Coordinate withproject managers
,consultants
, andcontractors
for cost and progress updates. Maintain up-to-date records of all contract correspondence, claims, and financial reports. Preparecash flow projections
and assist in project budgeting and cost control. Ensure compliance withAshghal specifications
,FIDIC
conditions of contract, and company standards. Support the procurement team in preparingtender evaluations
andbid comparisons
. Participate invalue engineering
andcost optimization
reviews.Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
.Minimum 10 years of
relevant experience, including at least5 years
onAshghal projects
(Building Constructions). Strong knowledge ofAshghal specifications, procedures, and document formats
. Proficiency inAutoCAD, MS Excel.
Familiarity withFIDIC contract conditions
. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.Job Type: Permanent
