We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented
Quantity Surveyor Engineer
to manage all aspects of cost estimation, budgeting, and contract administration for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all financial and contractual matters are efficiently managed to achieve cost-effective project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and tender documents.
Analyze project drawings, specifications, and requirements for accurate costing.
Review and evaluate contractor and subcontractor quotations.
Manage cost control, budgeting, and project financial forecasting.
Prepare and verify progress payments, variations, and claims.
Monitor project expenditures and advise on cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure compliance with contract terms, project specifications, and company procedures.
Support procurement activities through material quantity take-offs and pricing analysis.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement departments.
Prepare final accounts and assist in project close-out.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in
Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
.
Minimum
10 years of relevant experience
in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of
cost estimation, tendering, and post-contract administration
.
Familiarity with
FIDIC
or other standard forms of contract.
Proficiency in
MS Office, AutoCAD, and QS software
(e.g., CostX, Candy).
Strong analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
