Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced
Quantity Surveyor
to join our consultant supervision team for ongoingroads and infrastructure projects
in Qatar. The QS will be responsible for monitoring contractor payments, verifying quantities on-site, evaluating variations and claims, and supporting commercial aspects of the project in line withQCS 2014
,Ashghal standards
, and the consultancy's internal procedures.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and validate
BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents
in line with project specifications. Evaluatecontractor claims, variations, and payment applications
and prepare recommendations. Providecost control and financial management
throughout project lifecycle. Assist in contract administration, includingclaims management, risk assessment, and dispute resolution
. Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring alignment with client requirements. Conduct cost analysis, value engineering, and feasibility studies for design stages. Reviewtender submissions
and prepare evaluation reports. Prepare and maintain accurateproject cost reports, forecasts, and cash flows
. Coordinate with project managers, design engineers, and site teams to ensure cost efficiency. Ensure compliance withAshghal, PWA, and other authority standards
for infrastructure and road projects.Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in
Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering
(Master's preferred).Minimum 10 years' QS experience
, including at least 5 years with aconsultant company in Qatar
. Strong background ininfrastructure, roads, utilities, and buildings
projects. In-depth knowledge ofFIDIC contracts, QCS, and local authority regulations
. Proficient inMS Excel, cost management software, and AutoCAD
. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills. Strong command of written and spokenEnglish
; Arabic is an advantage.Job Type: Full-time
