Job Title: Quantity Surveying (QS) Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

Quantity Surveying (QS) Engineer

to join our team in

Abu Dhabi

. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in both

pre- and post-contract

phases of construction projects, with solid experience in cost estimation, tendering, contract administration, and project close-out procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Contract Phase:

Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and feasibility studies. Assist in preparing and reviewing tender documents, contracts, budgets, and bills of quantities. Evaluate and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations. Coordinate with design and planning teams to validate quantities and specifications.

Post-Contract Phase:

Conduct monthly valuations and prepare interim payment applications. Track project costs and prepare cost reports and cash flow forecasts. Handle contract administration, including variation orders and claims evaluation. Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure value for money. Assist in project closeout including final accounts settlement.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum

5 years of experience

in the UAE or GCC, with strong exposure to

pre- and post-contract

QS functions. Familiar with FIDIC and other standard forms of contract. Proficient in QS software Excellent knowledge of local market rates and regulations. Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Preferred Candidate:

Currently based in the UAE (Abu Dhabi experience is a plus). Available to join immediately or with short notice.
