Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced

QHSE & QA/QC professional

to manage and oversee

Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE)

systems alongside

Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC)

activities for our steel fabrication operations.

The successful candidate will ensure compliance with applicable standards, client requirements, and regulatory obligations while promoting a strong culture of quality and safety across the organization.

Key ResponsibilitiesQHSE Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain the company's

QHSE Management System

in line with

ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001

(or equivalent). Ensure compliance with

local regulatory requirements

, client specifications, and industry standards. Conduct

risk assessments, hazard identification (HIRA/JSA)

, and implement control measures. Lead

incident investigations

, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions. Monitor and improve

health, safety, and environmental performance

on workshop and site activities. Conduct

internal audits

, management reviews, and support external audits and certifications. Deliver

QHSE training and toolbox talks

to employees and subcontractors. Promote a proactive

safety and quality culture

across all departments.
QA/QC Responsibilities

Establish and implement

QA/QC procedures, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)

, and quality documentation for steel fabrication projects. Ensure compliance with

project specifications, drawings, codes, and standards

(e.g., AWS, ASME, EN, ISO). Supervise and coordinate

incoming material inspections

, in-process inspections, and final inspections. Monitor

welding quality

, including WPS, PQR, welder qualifications, and NDT activities. Review and approve

method statements, material certificates, and quality records

. Manage

non-conformances (NCRs)

, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Coordinate with

clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors

during inspections and audits. Ensure proper

documentation, traceability, and handover

of quality dossiers.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in

Engineering

,

Quality

,

HSE

, or a related field. Minimum 2-4

years of experience

in

QHSE and QA/QC

within

steel fabrication or heavy industry

. Strong knowledge of

ISO standards

, welding standards, and fabrication quality requirements. Certified

Lead Auditor (ISO 9001/14001/45001)

and/or recognized HSE certifications are an advantage. Experience with

NDT methods

(UT, RT, MT, PT) and structural steel inspections preferred.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
