QHSE Manager Job Location : Sharjah, United Arab Emirates Key Responsibilities & Authorities :
Defining Policies & Strategies for Quality & HSE Management that are reported to the Top Management
Defining competencies for Quality & HSE Department team members
Overseeing the performance of all aspects pertaining to Quality& HSE in Corporate Office and at site
Deciding on Quality & HSE staff recruitment based on required competencies
Promoting the competency development of personnel in the scope of Quality & HSE
Approving procedures for the company manually & IT ERP
Setting standards for quality as well as health and safety;
Designing and implementing all activities pertaining to Quality
Recommending to Top Management the resources budgets (assets including people) for the Department
Training Quality & HSE personnel in process areas including internal auditors (including HSE)
Approving all documents and records pertaining to Quality as well as the outputs of Quality &HSE Team
Implementing all applicable standards
Deciding on Non-conformities in the CAR
Format & approval the effectiveness of the actions taken against the non-conformities
Identifying new concepts in Quality &HSE & implementing the suitable ones
Evaluating performance of the Process, Product & Quality & HSE Team members
Monitoring the performance of internal auditors
Qualifying the Internal Auditors of Systems of the company
Conducting all types of Quality &HSE audits within the Company
Approving all Quality & HSE Plans
Skills/Experience:
Experience in QM & HSE in companies that have non-standard production/assembly lines and that had to be very flexible in meeting all clients requirements
Background in Engineering - Mechanical or Electronics,
