QCC - Quality Control Coach
Job Title: Quality Control Coach (QCC)
Reports To: Restaurant Manager / Unit Manager
Overall Purpose:
To act as the guardian of the brand's product and service quality standards. The QCC ensures that every item served meets the company's strict specifications and that all processes comply with food safety regulations, leading to a consistent and safe guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance: Conduct frequent and detailed checks of food products for taste, temperature, texture, appearance, and portion size at every stage (receiving, storage, production, service).
• Food Safety Leadership: Oversee and enforce all HACCP, food safety, and hygiene protocols. Lead internal audits, ensure proper documentation, and prepare the restaurant for external health authority inspections.
• Training & Coaching: Train and certify Team Members and Assistant Coaches on quality procedures, food safety standards, and correct product handling. Provide immediate coaching when standards are not met.
• Inventory & Receiving: Verify the quality and temperature of all incoming shipments, ensuring they meet specifications before acceptance. Manage shelf-life and rotation to prevent waste.
• Reporting & Analysis: Document all quality checks, non-conformities, and corrective actions. Analyze data to identify recurring quality issues and work with management on root-cause solutions.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Food Safety Audit scores (internal and external).
• Product quality pass rates from line checks.
• Reduction in waste due to quality issues.
• Successful completion of health department inspections.
