Job Summary
Perform welding inspections and documentation to ensure compliance with WPS/PQR, codes, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Review WPS/PQR; verify consumables, fit-up, parameters, and preheat/interpass. Conduct visual and dimensional inspections at all stages. Coordinate NDT (RT/UT/MT/PT), witness welder qualifications/WQTs. Maintain traceability, weld maps, ITP checklists, and NCR control. Interface with client QA/QC and construction teams.
Qualifications
CSWIP (mandatory). 3-5 years welding inspection in GCC O&G. Ability to read isometrics/P&IDs; strong reporting skills.
