We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA/QC Manager to lead our Quality Assurance and Quality Control efforts in a manufacturing environment. The QA/QC Manager will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining effective quality systems and ensuring that all products meet internal standards and external regulations before reaching customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
Oversee the QA/QC team in daily inspections, testing, and verification of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
Create, review, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and quality checklists.
Lead internal and external quality audits and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with production, engineering, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the supply chain.
Investigate non-conformities and customer complaints; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive measures.
Track quality performance metrics (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations as they relate to quality.
Manage calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment.
Train and mentor QA/QC staff and promote a culture of quality awareness across departments.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in QA/QC within a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, quality tools (5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA, SPC), and lean manufacturing principles.
Hands-on experience with inspection tools (callipers, micrometres, gauges, etc.) and quality software/systems.
Experience with regulatory and customer audits.
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Certification such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) is a plus.
