The QC Inspector is responsible for performing quality control inspections at various stages of manufacturing, with a strong focus on final finishing, assembly, and pre-shipment checks. This role ensures that products meet company standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements before release. The QC Inspector documents defects, works with production teams to resolve issues, and helps maintain consistent product quality.
Key ResponsibilitiesInspection & Quality Control
Conduct in-process and final finishing inspections on manufactured products.
Verify product dimensions, appearance, functionality, and overall workmanship.
Inspect materials, components, and finished goods based on approved specifications and drawings.
Perform visual, mechanical, and functional checks according to quality standards.
Identify, document, and classify defects or non-conformities.
Documentation & Reporting
Complete inspection reports, checklists, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and product status.
Communicate quality issues to supervisors and production teams in a timely manner.
Process & Compliance
Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and internal quality procedures.
Monitor finishing processes such as painting, coating, polishing, assembly, labeling, and packaging.
Assist in root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality audits.
Collaboration
Work closely with production, engineering, and QA teams to resolve quality issues.
Provide feedback to operators and supervisors to prevent reoccurrence of defects.
Support training on quality standards and inspection processes when needed.
