Oil & Gas / ConstructionExperience Required: Minimum 6 years in Welding Inspection and Quality Control (Saudi Aramco experience preferred)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a certified QC Inspector with expertise in welding and architectural inspections for oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding codes (ASME, API, AWS) and nondestructive testing (NDT), along with experience in architectural discipline activities. This role ensures compliance with quality standards and project specifications through meticulous inspections and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform material receiving inspections for welding and architectural materials.
- Witness performance tests and validate calibration of inspection equipment.
- Conduct dimensional control checks and review hydro-testing packages.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports (daily, weekly, monthly).
- Ensure compliance with ANSI, ASME, API, and AWS codes.
- Oversee NDT programs (VT, MT, PT, RT, UT) as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- B.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent diploma.
- Certifications: AWS CWI, CSWIP 3.1, ASNT Level II (for NDT methods).
- Thorough knowledge of welding codes (ASME Section V/IX, API 620/650, AWS D1.1).
- Experience in architectural inspections for offshore buildings.
- Proficient in English (technical report writing).
- Computer literate.
