Our client, a leading Oil & Gas service provider,

is currently seeking an experienced

QC Inspector - Welding

for an Oil & Gas project. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in welding inspection activities and ensure strict compliance with international quality and safety standards. A

valid CSWIP Welding Inspector certification (3.1 or equivalent) is mandatory

. This is a

short-term, extendable contract role

.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect welding activities in accordance with approved

WPS, PQR, ITPs

, and project specifications Monitor welding processes to ensure compliance with

international welding codes and standards

Verify welder qualifications, welding consumables, and welding parameters Perform visual inspection of welds and monitor fit-up, joint preparation, and welding sequences Witness and coordinate

NDT activities

(RT, UT, MT, PT) as per project requirements Identify non-conformities, raise NCRs, and ensure corrective actions are implemented Review and maintain welding inspection reports and quality documentation Coordinate with construction teams, contractors, and QA/QC personnel to resolve welding quality issues Ensure all inspection activities comply with

HSE requirements

Requirements

Minimum

5 years of experience

as a

QC Inspector - Welding

in

Oil & Gas projects

Valid CSWIP Welding Inspector certification (3.1 or equivalent)

- mandatory Strong knowledge of welding processes, materials, and inspection techniques Familiarity with international welding standards and codes (ASME, AWS, ISO, etc.) Ability to read and interpret

isometric drawings, welding symbols, and technical documents

Strong attention to detail and reporting skills Ability to work independently under site conditions
