Role Overview:

Orbit ISS is seeking an experienced QC Inspector (Insulation) to join our team, focusing on commissioning activities for Oil & Gas and Energy projects. The candidate will ensure all insulation works are properly inspected and verified during commissioning, meeting project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect insulation materials, application methods, cladding, and weatherproofing during commissioning. Verify compliance of insulation works with drawings, ITPs, and technical specifications. Monitor insulation for piping, equipment, tanks, and HVAC ducting during pre-commissioning and commissioning activities. Identify and report non-conformances, ensuring follow-up on corrective actions before handover. Coordinate with Construction, Commissioning, QC, Engineering, and Client/Third-Party Inspectors. Prepare and maintain accurate inspection and commissioning documentation. Support final handover of insulated systems to operations, ensuring all standards are met.

Requirements

Proven experience as a QC Inspector in insulation works, preferably in commissioning of Oil & Gas or Energy projects. Strong knowledge of insulation materials, application techniques, and commissioning practices. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, ITPs, and project specifications. Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills. * Strong communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
