QC Inspector - Electrical & Instrumentation



Location : Ras Laffan

Salary : TBD

Working Hours & Days 10 hours,6 days a week

Start Date15-Oct-25

Duration 3 months, extendable

Electrical Engineering Diploma, or suitable equivalent plus Trade Certificates in Electrical and/ or Instrumentation.

Minimum 8 years of working experience as inspection personnel for Oil & Gas projects, 5 years of which must be in the onshore Gas Facilities sector, preferably in LNG.


Familiar with electrical and instrumentation specific codes and standards (i.e., IEC, NEC, NFPA, BS, NEMA, NETA, ATEX/IECEX-60079. etc.).
Experience in inspection activities during procurement, fabrication, installation and hook-up, and commissioning of oil and gas production facilities projects.

Implement QA/QC activities including those of Subcontractors Works in accordance with approved QCP / ITPs and procedures, method statements and other Contract documents.
Prepares and sign off applicable records for quality surveillance / inspections / tests.
Ensure availability of appropriate version of applicable Work documents such as AFC drawings, Specifications and international codes and standards.
- Provide sufficient feedback to Quality Manager/Engineer on the day-to-day quality issues
