Job Description
The
QC GRP Piping
is responsible for ensuring that all GRP piping works -- including fabrication, installation, and testing -- are performed in full compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and relevant international standards. The position involves close coordination with the construction team, consultants, and third-party inspectors to maintain high-quality standards throughout all project phases.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inspection and verification of
GRP pipe materials, fittings, and joints
upon delivery and prior to installation. Review and ensure compliance withproject specifications, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and method statements
related to GRP works. Performin-process inspections
for alignment, bedding, jointing, lamination, and support systems. Witness and document allhydrostatic, leakage, and pressure tests
as per QA/QC procedures. Coordinate with theclient/consultant
for inspection requests (RFI) and ensure proper documentation of all test results and NCRs (if any). Maintain accuraterecords of inspection reports, material traceability, calibration certificates, and QC logs.
Ensure thatonly approved materials and calibrated tools/equipment
are used for GRP works.Job Type: Full-time
