Job Title: QC Manager Company: Vanol FZE Location: [Insert Location - e.g., Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, UAE] Department: Quality Control / Operations Reports To: General Manger Job Purpose The QC Manager will be responsible for overseeing all quality control operations within Vanol FZE's lubricants, grease, and toll blending division. The role ensures compliance with international quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement in product quality and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Quality Control department, ensuring strict adherence to QA/QC procedures. Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems for lubricants, grease, and toll blending operations. Conduct routine testing of raw materials, in-process batches, and finished products to meet industry standards (ASTM, ISO, API, etc.). Review, approve, and monitor product specifications, blending formulations, and quality records. Collaborate with R&D and Production teams to resolve quality issues and optimize formulations. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Prepare and present monthly QC performance and compliance reports to management. Manage internal and external audits, certifications, and client inspections. Train, supervise, and develop QC staff to maintain high technical standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality, cost control, and process efficiency. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or related field (Master's degree preferred). Minimum 7-10 years of experience in lubricants, grease manufacturing, and toll blending, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of international standards (ASTM, ISO, API, NLGI, SAE, etc.). Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and testing procedures for lubricants & grease. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Proficiency in quality management systems (QMS) and reporting tools. Effective communication and interpersonal skills in a multicultural work environment.
