Key Responsibilities:
Ensure fabrication processes comply with relevant codes, specifications and project requirement
Prepare QC Procedures, Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and maintain QAQC documentations
Perform or supervise incoming material inspection, Fit-up and dimensional inspections, welding inspection and pressure testing
Plan and schedule the NDT activities, verify NDT results and ensure that defects are evaluated / repaired as per applicable codes
Develop and qualify WPS/PQR in accordance with ASME Sec IX, AWS D1.1 or ISO 15614-1
Ensure inspection, measuring, and test equipment (IMTE) are regularly calibrated and traceable to national standards
Coordinate with Authorized Inspector (AI) and Client Inspector during hold and witness points for inspections
Identify and report non-conformances during fabrication or inspection & follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Support readiness for ASME and ISO Audits
Qualification required:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/ Production Engineering
Minimum 2- 4 years' experience in a QAQC role in ASME pressure vessels, piping and structural fabrication
Proficient in Microsoft Office
CSWIP 3.1 certificate is required
Strong knowledge in ASME, API and AWS codes
UAE Driving license(added advantage)
BGAS Grade Level II (added advantage)
Audit experience in ASME/ISO Audits (added advantage)
