We are seeking an experienced
QC Engineer
to manage and oversee quality assurance and quality control activities forgeotechnical and materials testing
. The role involves ensuring compliance with ISO 17025, supervising laboratory and field testing activities, and maintaining accurate quality documentation.Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain the
Quality Management System (QMS)
in line with ISO 17025 and internal QA/QC procedures Prepare and monitorquality control plans
for soil and material testing Supervise and verify laboratory testing activities and review test results Overseeequipment calibration and verification
Conduct internal audits, handle non-conformances, and implement corrective actions Support and supervise field testing activities such asSPT, plate load, and field density tests
Review test methods, SOPs, worksheets, and reports for compliance and accuracy Ensure proper sample collection, handling, and transportation Maintain compliance withHSE and regulatory requirements
Train laboratory and field personnel on QA/QC proceduresRequirements
Bachelor's degree in
Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Materials Engineering
, or related field Minimum4 years of experience
in QA/QC or geotechnical & materials testing Strong knowledge of soil mechanics and geotechnical tests (Proctor, Atterberg limits, shear tests, compaction, particle size analysis) Familiarity withASTM, BS, AASHTO
, or equivalent standards Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment calibration and QA/QC instrumentation Experience withISO 17025
quality systems is highly preferred Good communication, reporting, and documentation skillsJob Type: Full-time
