Position: QC Engineer

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Department: Quality Control / Manufacturing

Industry: Electrical Panel Manufacturing (PLC, Switchgear)

Reporting to: Quality Manager / Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-process and final inspections of PLC panels and LV switchgear assemblies as per IEC standards and project specifications. Review and verify wiring, component installation, panel layout, labeling, and termination against approved drawings and BOMs. Perform functional and continuity testing of control panels. Coordinate with the design, production, and project teams to resolve quality issues. Maintain and update QA/QC documentation including inspection checklists, NCRs, test reports, and calibration records. Monitor compliance with ISO 9001, project QAPs, and customer requirements. Conduct FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) in the presence of clients or third-party inspectors. Ensure all products meet applicable safety and quality standards before dispatch. Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Provide training and guidance to production teams on quality practices.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering. Minimum 1-2 years of QC experience in electrical panel manufacturing (PLC/SCADA panels, LV switchgear). Familiar with international standards (IEC, UL, ISO). Strong understanding of electrical schematics, SLDs, and wiring diagrams. Knowledge of tools like multimeters, megger, high-pot tester, etc. Detail-oriented with good documentation and communication skills.
Preferred:

Experience with FAT procedures and client-side inspections
