Key Responsibilities:
Drafting Duties:
Prepare accurate shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.
Coordinate with design and engineering teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
Revise drawings based on comments from engineers, consultants, or clients.
Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions.
Ensure all drawings comply with company and project-specific standards.
Quality Control Duties:
Conduct inspections of materials and workmanship at factory and site.
Ensure that all works are executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
Prepare and maintain QC documents such as inspection reports, checklists, and method statements.
Coordinate with the site team to resolve technical and quality-related issues.
Report non-conformities and assist in implementing corrective actions.
Assist in internal and external audits as needed.
Key Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential, 3D is a plus).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
Good knowledge of joinery/interior fit-out or construction materials and methods.
Understanding of quality standards and inspection processes.
Ability to read architectural and technical drawings.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's in Civil / Mechanical / Architectural Engineering or a related field.
2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role (preferably in joinery/interior fit-out).
Knowledge of quality control procedures and drafting practices.
UAE experience is an advantage.
